A hamburger is a hunk of ground beef served between two pieces of bun-configured bread. Hamburgers are often served with a variety of toppings and condiments. It is named for the region in which it was invented, not for the kind of meat (as is often mistakenly suggested).
In Australia, we are pretty keen on putting beetroot on hamburgers. It tastes delicious and adds a new element to the taste. Has anyone else around the world had the opportunity to try this?
It's delicious! A fried egg, a slice of beetroot, a large slice of tomato, a large slice of unfried white onion and some cheese between the pattie and the rest. Awesome.

I was never a fan of the beet aye, Kiwis do it alot as well, I prefer Tomatoes, Lettuce, Pickles, Cucumber, Red Onion, Real foods mayonnaise, Mustard, Pattie, Goddamnit, now i'm Hungry again...
Beetroot on burger seems like a bad idea, but it's actually not terrible. I never encountered it till I ordered the 'Aussie burger' on a few occasions. It's about the only situation I would want to eat beetroot.
I like beetroot :3 I don't recall having it on a burger though. But if a situation arises where I am eating a burger which happens to contain beetroot then I'd happily oblige.
