One of the names used to describe the geographical region between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River between 450 BC and 1948 AD. Nowadays, the term Palestine is still used, often in reference to the Palestinian Territories which along with Israel comprise that region.
Rome is the present-day capital city of Italy. It has been the seat of power in the Italian peninsula for over 2000 years.
Spain (Spanish: España) is a constitutional monarchy located on the Iberian Peninsula in Southwestern Europe. Its capital city is Madrid.
