Axe

The axe is a tool used for many activities. Its uses include cutting wood, knocking down doors in emergencies, and rending your enemies limb from limb without mercy or regret.
Cabbage

Leafy garden plant of European origin, with a short stem and a spherical head of usually green leaves.
Cake

Cake is a delicious baked good. Omnomnom.
Carrot

It's orange, it's healthy, and it's good for your sight. Rabbits have been known to have a fondness for this vegetable.
Cheese

A delicious substance that makes even the most cold-hearted person cry out, "Yum!"
Cookies

The pinnacle of human achievement, delicious yet soft and sweet. Cookies have been featured as snacks in many a game.
Copper

Copper is a ductile metal that has been used for a vast array of purposes throughout history including electricity, currency, architecture, and the creation of alloys such as bronze and brass.
Cucumber

A cucumber is a longish green fruit. They can be pickled and turned into pickles. We learn from Sam & Max that it is very silly to cut cucumbers length-wise.
Egg

It's an egg. It can be eaten or thrown, or perhaps used in other creative ways, like bringing back the protagonist of a group of heroes who travels through time.
Eggplant

The eggplant has appeared in numerous video games, most notably the 8-bit era. This was probably mainly due to its unique shape and color, which made it stand out.
Fishing Rod

Link uses one. You do it in Animal Crossing. Lakitu uses it in most Mario installments like Mario Kart and Super Mario 64. Loads of games use fishing rods! Reel in that carp!
Flowers

They look pretty and some of them smell. In some games, you even have to collect them.
French Fries

Potatoes that are cut, fried, and dusted with salt. Usually served with ketchup although other condiments can be substituted like mayonnaise. They are often paired with burgers or fried fish.
Fruit

A fruit is a sweet and edible food that contains seeds. It is one of the major food groups according to the USDA. In many games, fruit is a bonus item, while vegetables rarely are.
Frying Pan

To some the humble frying pan may appear to be a humble instrument of home cooking, but to those who count these Teflon coated beauties are a valuable aid to assault and battery.
Gold

A valuable item highly sought after, often used as a reward or incentive to complete the story. Also used as a currency in many role playing games.
Grapes

Round or slightly elongated fruit that comes in bunches and can be green, purple or red. They are sometimes made into jelly or juice.
Grass

It's green and grows in the ground. This page is for games that use grass in some notable way, not for all video games that merely have grass in them.
Hammer

A blunt tool used to hit things, whatever those things may be... a nail, a person.
Ketchup

Ketchup is a popular condiment, usually made primarily with tomatoes, used to liven up everything from omelettes to french fries.
Milk

The delicious dairy drink that comes from mammals. Some games use it as a power up / health boost, while others use it as a resource. Substitutes can be comprised of rice, soy, and apparently, hemp.
Mushroom

Mushroom is the familiar term used to describe a gilled fungus which may or may not bear a stem. Mushrooms are the "fruit" of spore bearing fungi.
Noodles

Noodles are a food dish found all around the world. There are many kinds of noodles, randing from spaghetti to ramen.
Onion

Onions are common root vegetables, but not related in any way to potatoes.
Pickle

A cucumber that has been preserved in a brine. While it usually comes in jars, in Greenvale it comes in cans. Note: jars of pickles are notoriously hard to open.
Pineapple

Pineapple is the common name for a fruit that is native to the southern part of Brazil and Paraguay. They are very tasty... even on pizza!
Potato

All hail the all-purpose potato!
Pumpkin

A large orange fruit, often associated with Halloween.
Rake

This gardening tool can be a lethal weapon in the wrong hands.
