Downloading it now.

It hit the Europe store, you have to have an account and get a key for it....  I played it and it was okay. The controls feel clunky to me.

^ use that when you register if you want to play it on a US account.  It worked for me.  If you know the answers to the little game it takes only like 30 seconds.  Demo is worth it.
 
Controls were fine to me.  Took a sec to get use to holding down R2 to walk forward and using the stick for direction.  Game is what you would expect.  An interactive movie basically.  Which isn't bad imo.  It's something different and I'm definitely up for that...so tired of the shooters and hack n slashers.  The graphics = mind blown.  The facial animations are wonderful and the characters blend into their environments well.  The crime scene was way too blurry though, imo.  Climbing up the muddy hill was funny....I was covered in mud by the end of it.  Some of the things you gotta do still seem pointless to me tho...like when you have to show your badge to the officer at the crime scene....did I really have to do that or could the game of just done it for me?
 
Think the game is gonna be good.  I can see the majority of people not liking it for obvious reasons (what I can't shoot everything!?).  The snippets of story here don't really give you much but the trailer gets you amped to play the entire game.  Looks like I'll be saving up money for this game next.

Very 'meh' reaction to this demo, which is quite a drop from my previous level of excitement. The place they drop you in, without any type of explanation and without any context is just extremely boring and gives no reason to care about anyone here and gives you only the barest understanding of what the hell is going on. That might be OK for a game that doesn't focus heavily on the story but considering that's pretty much all Heavy Rain is I can't help but be very disappointed in the terrible representation given here.  In any case I'll probably play the full game because that'll actually give you a story to care about and not just a bunch of QTEs which are way more prominent in the demo than actual story.
 
Also what the hell was up with Detective McCrazyGlasses? Uhhh, so you've got 'special' glasses that let you see evidence? Guess no one else wanted those, huh?

Don't really think it looks all that good at all, but will try the demo. Thanks anyways.

The way I did it was go to this website to create a US Heavy Rain account and then going to the Precinct 52 website and entered the name and pw I made on the other site. Had to pick these clues:
 • Short cigarette (117b)
• Origami bird
• Coffee shop C (it says "diner")
• 117h (tyre tracks). 
 Hit submit and got my code. I played the demo and thought it was fantastic and only cemented the fact that I am buying this game.
