    Konami have appointed Hideo Kojima, the creator of the popular action epic Metal Gear Solid, to the role of Vice President. 
     
    The head of Kojima Productions was formerly VP and corporate officer for Konami Digital Entertainment, who are based in Nagoya. 

    The Pro Evolution Soccer executive producer Shinji Enomoto has also been promoted to the same position.
