Pitch the game you wish Kojima would make! I'll start, I have two ideas.

The first is called Single Action Army (with permission from Colt?) and it about an ace Bank Robber who discovers a dark plot brewed up by a mining town who serves Cthulu and is dragged into a world of paranormal intrigue. It plays out as a series of heists as you undermine the cultists whilst wearing a bandana. There's also quieter moments. The game sort of builds to the heists slowly.

The second: A game about a porn star. Basically Boogie Nights the game.

    Your turn. Wishpitch!

Well he obviously can't work on Z.O.E, Policenauts or Snatcher since, like MGS, it's all owned by Konami.

What scares me is the idea of him going the Inafune and Igarashi route and making a spiritual successor to one of those on Kickstarter. I just want something new from that man's insane mind.

Kojima's take on a sailing game - think Wind Waker, Black Flag, stuff like that - could be rad. An interesting way to balance original ideas with his unique brand of crazy, which we all know and love

I wonder if he's ever seen The Hunt for Red October...

Honestly, I wonder if Kojima might be happier just getting involved in making movies. He's always been super obsessed with Hollywood.

They talked about this on the Bombcast a while ago; Kojima's pull is really only in the video game industry, but with his good friend GDT he might be able to pull enough funding for a movie on the scale he usually aims to reach. The real question is, does anyone actually want that, or do we just think we do?

Boktai for the PS4, requiring you to carry it outside with you to absorb the solar energy. Spend a day at the beach, get a beach towel for yourself, your girlfriend/boyfriend and your PS4, and just lay back, watch the waves crash against the shore and flinch every single time a grain of sand hits your console.

Or, any horror game involving a partnership with Guillermo Del Toro. Oh, wait, that's already happening!

I don't think so. Kojima loves making games. He said that he once wanted to make movies and that now he wants to make games for as long as he lives. He also regrets not making MGS4 more interactive and has used creative interactive storytelling techniques since MGS1, so he clearly appreciates the genre for what it offers him as a storyteller.

He's been really into Mad Max Fury Road lately according to his twitter. And I think I saw somewhere that him and Del Toro still want to work together on something? It'd be cool if him and Del Toro launch a joint Kickstarter. Draw fans from both industries. I think that would be a very successful Kickstarter.

Another Hyperdimension Neptunia spinoff, directed by Kojima. Taking place in the modern console generation, Laystation and Leanbox are controlled by DRM nanomachines. An out of date Neptune, remotely supported by her sister Nepgear, has to hunt down Blanc who's attempting to establish Outer Haven U, her attempt at bringing down the system via cracks and emulators. Then again, this doesn't sound too far off something they'd actually do with our without Kojima.

But seriously, I think Kojima could do some interesting things with an RPG like game in that it gives him plenty of time to tell a story and let the player interact with the crazy world he's come up with.

I want him to do a sci-fi action-adventure. Action-adventure is my favorite genre because of how broad it is. It can have the best of everything and filter the worst. I want a game that combines exploration, action, stealth and platforming.

I literally have no idea what I want the next Hideo Kojima game to be like. I'm basically up for anything. If he had the budget of Phantom Pain, maybe a hard-boiled sci-fi detective game? Basically Blade Runner which is pretty much like Snatcher(?).

I'd love a spiritual successor to Snatcher. Never got to play it, and Kojima doing a cyberpunk game sounds like something I'd love to see.

Another Policenauts? How about another "Metal Gear Solid but not really Metal Gear Solid" game? I mean, shit, he practically stole the Snake Plissken character from Escape from New York so.... An Escape from New York game?

Or, you know, dude could just make movies or anime like he should have been doing from the beginning.....

I can understand that to an extent, but considering the shit video game movies that have been made over the last 30 years, I think Kojima could actually do a lot in Hollywood. He's got a pretty diehard fanbase on the gaming side of the house that will buy anything with his name attached, and I think he has enough chops with the Metal Gear series that he could get someone in the movie biz to bankroll him just from looking at his Metal Gear work alone. If the movie studios can justify $40-$65 million for those shitty Resident Evil movies that nobody has liked since the first one, I don't understand why those same people couldn't give Kojima a similar budget and say "go nuts!". If there is anyone in the gaming industry who could actually pull that off, Kojima is top of the list.

A game about going to space. MGS3 was originally going to include even more of a focus on the space race of the era, Peace Walker's post game tapes might be similar to what was cut, so it's something Kojima has had an interest in before.

Game starts in the 60s so you get war time politics stuck in your space developments then periodic time jumps until we get to the future where the game turns into ZOE 3.

Follow up on his Silent Hills ideas and make a horror game. I bet that's what he'll do if he ever ends up making another big game.
