As discussed on the Bombcast, if three seasons of Hitman are planned as stated by Eurogamer what locations would you like to see? There really are so many great directions they could take it in.

I think a Vegas casino would be a great one where you’re maybe trying to kill a casino owner, lots of great opportunities for disguises and areas that would be considered trespassing.

Another option I’d like to see is a ski resort with some sort of Winter Olympic style event going on and you have to kill a competitor. It would be completely different style of area than anything we have seen so far but again great opportunities for disguises and trespassing with various team areas, TV crews and lodges.

What locations/targets would you like to see?

An E3 or PAX like convention complete with cosplayers.

Oh man, a ski resort sounds great.

In going with the sports theme, it would be cool to do a hit at a football (soccer) stadium, while a game is going on. Disguise yourself as a referee, or sneak into the owners box, or something like that.

Carnival in Rio - imagine the possibilities for costumes.

Akihabara - Bright place with huge and colorful crowds of people. Might be hard to find costumes that work on 47, but there is potential for stealing a Super Sentai cosplay.

Natural History Museum - this I like more for the potential for unusual death traps.

I believe they did a ski resort or some kind of winter lodge (it was very upscale, either way) in an earlier game. It might've been Contracts. Not that I wouldn't be into doing that in a good game.

I live in Minnesota, so the Mall of America has been just another place for me, but I know that it's a tourist attraction for some. It might be kind of cool to do a Mega Mall level where you have to track down your target among the crowds.

Rural England, maybe a village of the same style as was seen in Contradiction, maybe teach foreigners what hedgerows are :P.
That might be tough for a Hitman game though.

@sdoots: There was a mission in Blood Money set at a Christmas party in a mansion built into the side of a mountain. Is that what you're thinking about?

Yup, that was the one. My mistake, it was a good game, then.

I don't think Contracts had ANY good or cool missions, in that case.

The Olympics or some other type of sporting event where you have to take out an athlete.

@sdoots: Contracts was an awesome game! It was pretty much a "best of" for the first two Hitman games. I remember some really cool levels, like the butcher factory/dance club/opiate den, or the snow level set on a military base. It's been a while since I've played it, but it definitely had some cool levels.

Anyway, back to new locations for the new Hitman. Oktoberfest in Germany could be really cool! A huge crowd of a bunch of drunk people stumbling around. I imagine 47 lining up a long sniper shot, and then a dunk dude bumping into him and throwing him off his aim.

Great question, and some great answers so far.

For my part:

• I'd love to see a straight Collateral-style nightclub homage - fake or sneak your way in; hide in the panic on the way out; making use of the staff exits and back alleys. Lots of poisoning, shooting, exploding and various other options. Add your Asian mafia influence to taste.

• Anything involving the assassination of some douchebag out during a corporate 'team building' event. Something in a laser tag or paintball event would be perfect. Except obviously you replace the toys with real guns; or make the victims' equipment explosive; or fabricate some other accident, and have a co-worker do the deed for you.

• Holiday special! A Santa Clause convention, where you have to play "Where's Wally / Waldo?" and identify the correct target among hundreds from the target's own personal tics. Strangle him with mistletoe! Hang him from the tree! Impale him on Rudolf! Festive fun for all the family.

For a game I've yet to pick up, I enjoy watching people playing this thing enormously, and I really dig its chaotic embrace of the surreal.

You can kill them in the dressing room

Get the Ref disguise and kill them as the referee.

Contracts' Deadly Cargo was amazing. Outside of HITMAN's Sapienza, it's my favorite level in the series.

I can't stand Tom Cruise, but Collateral is a fucking great movie.

That would be fantastic. The story should be 47 hired by a publisher to kill a reviewer who gave a game a low score.

I would like to see some maps with more nature elements where maybe they had a role to play, like rain, snow and so on.

Maybe on a big european wedding and your target is the groom?

Seems like a situation for some fun action and a hard mission since everyone's looking at the groom most of the time. You could get inside as a guest, or disguised as someone from catering, band, etc. Some of the opportunities could be to put a mine on the cake or poison the champagne glass.

Something during a sporting event on a stadium and you have to kill someone on the VIP seats and one of the athletes could be cool as well.

1. Monaco, maybe your target is a driver during the F1 race they have there?

2. Some super-stiff and sterile office building. You'd have to assassinate some business CEO while working your way up through the office.

3. A Circus where you need to assassinate the Ringmaster or something.

Johannesburg - that seems like an interesting city.

Washington DC, Tokyo, Shanghai, Dubai, holy city Israel, Cairo, Rio, joannesburg, Istanbul, Mexico city, maybe an island resort like in Fuji, Swiss alps, Montreal.

I would love fantasy assassinations like anicent Rome were you have to assassinate Julius Caesar.

Well, they did a New Orleans one where you crash a Marti Gras parade (Blood Money), so maybe. Or, I'd just like another one like that.

47, you've been hired to take out Geff Jerstmann for giving our game Lane and Kynch a low score.
I bet the NPC dialogue would be marvelously bad. Then again this Hitman seems to be the most on point with how silly it knows it can be.

Anyways, give me a cruise ship, a military base (or police station) annnnd maybe a zoo, the last one is kind of dumb, but imagine the kills? Push a guy into a Lions Den or get an Elephant to trample them.
Also I just want snow at some point, don't care where, just want some snow.

Everyone has said great ideas for locations. Watching the Brad vs Dan hitman features gave me the thought that a mission where you're not the only hit man in the location would be really cool. Either you have to kill the target before the other hit man does, or you have to find the other hitman out from a loose description of him and by the actions he does. Ideally he would do something different or look different each time so you don't just play the mission out once and then automatically know who it is.

A skyscraper. That's actually been a setting for a vertical open world game I've been thinking would be interesting.

Imagine killing the target and escaping by gondola, disguised as a gondolier. Yes please.

I wouldn't mind a dumb crossover level. Like, say... the Death Star or something. But more realistically, I'd like to see something similar to Sapienza in a more urban area. Busy streets to navigate and a few buildings to enter, but the main attraction is a rooftop penthouse.

An underground seedy as fuck party. Something a long the lines from the Meat King mission in Contracts. Psychotic butchers, hanging dead horse carcases, BDSM gear, pumping music encouraging me to embrace it. That was a great mission.

I want less high luxury and more seedy, there's enough luxury in the current missions.

Someone in the thread said a cruise ship, and I can't believe I didn't think of that. Those things have everything, casinos, fancy restaurants, bars, clubs, pool areas, not to mention all the crew areas hidden from the public. Make it a really elaborate cruise ship and you can include all kinds of crazy crap like ice rinks or mini golf courses.

• As others have mentioned, a ski resort would be great. I suggest Whistler, or some other Canadian resort because there are a lot of good caucklehead-jokes to make. Hell, they even had an Olympics there, so you could satisfy two wishes at once.
• I would like to see a mission where you are trying to assasinate a president / political figure in Central Park, NYC. I imagine the figure is going out for an early morning run and you have to find a way to get around the secret service.
• A massive NSA style server farm would be an interesting place to do some assasinating.
• Tibeten monastary on top of a mountain.
• Crossover with Far Cry: Blood Dragon =)

Definitely some Canadian location. Places like the CNT seem obvious. But I wonder if they could do some place in the wilderness and make it work?

An underwater level.

Lots of good choices here, backdrop like sports or political related would be prime for the kind of seasonal product/service they are doing. Although might be a bit too on the nose, and could be in bad form if something bad does happen in their real world counterparts, wait until the real world events are done and the coast is clear?

Anyways some ideas, a big party attended by foreign dignitaries and elites, might not sound original, but hey make it glamorous and with political/wheeling and dealing/power struggle undertone. And 47 is tasked with taking out multiple targets or might even need to frame someone or some group. Could also add an objective to acquire a Macguffin.

A live concert, accident on the center stage! Maybe even an added twist of making certain a member of a band live.

A college campus, image a cast of stereotypical characters with the game's silliness.

An active amusement park, I think they did an abandon one. Haunted house could be hiding in plain sight, don't even need a clean up! Rides malfunctions, dress up as a mascot.

Airport might be interesting

Some kind of rip off NYSE/banking floor. Might not have much flashy kills, but maybe drug OD, poisoned drug, added objective to mess with target's trading/money, might be kind of dark, but drive target to suicide or make it look like a suicide.

Kill the pilot of the airplane you're in.

I'm joining the ski resort club. That could definitely offer up some exotic ways to off your targets.

Also tossing my vote to the "seedy club/underground party" option. I want to go Hotline Miami and wear animal masks.

Has a Hitman game done the magic show thing yet?

I like the idea of choosing whether to sabotage the buzzsaw, the water escape tank, or the 'docile' tigers.

Really like some of the ideas notably:

- Ski Resort

- Circus

- Sporting match (target a player)

- E3 or some form of convention

My suggestion (which I'm not sure if it's been done before) would be some form of Golf Course/Country Club - varying locations or targets including on the course itself, pro shops, a fancy function being held at the club etc. I wanna see 47 blending in as a caddy.

I'd love to see the City of Leeds used as a location. The city centre is a good mix of mutliple levels, shopping centres and back alleys. The multi-cultural University campuses, oriental district and the largest covered market in Europe are always teeming with people.

Plus it would be great seeing the Americans try and understand a thick Leeds accent.

Sadly every single NPC in the new Hitman are voiced by 1 Australian/British woman 1 American woman and 3 American men. Even the Marrakesh locals.

Yup, that was my first thought as well. Something interesting could be done with one of those double decker trains or maybe something like the Trans-Siberian Express. Would also have lots of non-NPC dangers to deal with.

A Hospital would allow for a huge indoor environment with lots of opportunities
