    A loosely connected multiverse of games all developed/produced by the HoYoverse, mostly for mobile devices, though some of the later games would have PC or console ports as well.

    The CEO of the HoYoverse, Haoyu Cai, claimed during an interview over an update to Honkai Impact 3rd that the settings of the different games are different branches of an "Imaginary Tree." This explains why there are multiple Kiana Kaslanas with very different characterizations, or why Raiden Mei (from HI3) and Raiden Shogun (from GI) have very similar looks and names despite being different characters.
