In a Group, a fun Experience

Hunter: The reckoning, is the port of the game of the same name on the Xbox. But does it satisfy gamers? or is it just another imitator, well, neither really.

Firstly, I'll fill you in on the story, there's an inmate that's on death row called Victor Arkady, and is being executed. Once he's on the electric chair, and electrocuted, the dead rise and kill everybody in the jail except 4 people, who joined together to fight them off and seal the prison. 1 year later, on it's anniversary, the dead are out again and killing innocent people by the hundreds, and only 4 people can stop them, the same 4 that stopped them last year.

Graphics:smooth and look like they should. Some things look extravagantly freaky and the atmosphere is nice. Animations are pretty lame and the innocent's character models are sub-par as well.

Sound:Great music, Mostly because i like Metal. The sounds were slightly suspenseful and well suited. Voice acting was...overall bad, which lowered the rating. Guns were relatively good. Everything sounded like it should, for the most part

Gameplay: The big cheese of a game i suppose. Anyways, This game excels in multiplayer, and i suggest that above all else, you play it with friends. The gameplay mostly consists of you running about, hacking, slashing, and shooting everything that moves. Which, with friends, ends up working quite well. Bosses are difficult and fun. However the single player is so boring and easy that you may end up getting too bored b4 the game is even over. The more people that play, the harder the bosses become. Simple gameplay mechanics, and a horrifically poor 1 player mode keep this game from really excelling in gameplay.

The value of this game really does show, it seems like it was put together in a very small amount of time, and budget. Overall, the polish is non-present. This game is overall FUN, I can't even describe why, perhaps because there is no reason, but this game is just a lot of fun with friends. Recommend a rental for a party because that's where you'll get the most fun out of it, and then you'll probably be done with it afterwords.
