    Indy's Adventures

As a young boy, Indiana Jones grew up with his father, Henry Jones, and went through many adventures depicted in the television show: 'The Adventures of young Indiana Jones' and briefly in The Last Crusade. Indy's most famous adventures are depicted in the four motion pictures: 'Raiders of the Lost Ark', 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade', and 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'.

We first meet Indiana Jones in the film 'Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark' where we see him in an ancient temple searching for a Golden Idol. Jones sets off a series of traps after discovering this idol, including the famous giant boulder that chases him out of the temple. He then encounters a rival archeologist, Rene Belloq. Belloq confronts Jones with the help of the natives and takes the idol from him.

After Jones escapes the jungle, he returns to his university where he is a professor of archeology. Here, Jones meets two men who inform him that the Nazis are looking for Abner Ravenwood, Jones' former mentor, who was in possession of an artifact known as the Staff of Ra. Jones then discovers that the Nazis are searching for the Ark of the Covenant, which contained the Ten Commandments and was said to bestow great power onto whoever possesses the Ark.

Jones sets out to find Marion Ravenwood, Aber's daughter who goes along with Jones on his journey to discover the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis can. Throughout their adventure Indiana and Marion encounter plenty of trouble in the forms of spies, Nazis, and Indy's greatest fear, Snakes.

    The Temple of Doom

Indiana Jones' second adventure begins as Jones meets with a crime boss in Shanghai. Soon after this meeting things do not go Indy's way and he is eventually poisoned and forced to escape the crime boss and his men with a little help from his side kick Short Round. As Indiana and Short Round make their way to an airport with a little company from the club singer Willie Scott, who had been carrying the antidote for the poison that Indiana had consumed.

Once aboard the plane Jones thinks that he has successfully escaped the crime boss, but soon realizes that he had been set up. The pilots of the plane had jumped out of the plane and parachuted to safety leaving Jones, Short Round, and Willie to crash in the mountains. Indiana quickly discovers an inflatable boat on the plane and with it jumps to the mountains below using it to cushion their fall.

The group eventually comes across a village that greets them and tells Indiana about their sacred stones that have gone missing. These stones are the Sankara stones (the phallic lingam stones of the god Shiva) which brought prosperity to their village, which now was left desolate and run down.

Indiana Jones agrees to help the villagers find the Sankara stones and sets off on his journey to the Temple of Doom. Here Indiana faces a cult that offers human sacrifices to Kali, the Hindu Goddess of time. The cult has taken the children from the village and enslaved them using the power of the Sankara to dig for even more stones.

    The Last Crusade

During Indiana Jones' third installment Indiana is asked to recover the Holy Grail by a wealthy businessman named Walter Donovan. Donovan asks Jones to decipher a clue that could lead to the Grail's whereabouts and informs Indiana that his father, Henry Jones Sr, had been hired before him to find the Grail, but has gone missing.

Indiana sets out with the help of Marcus Brody, Henry Jones' longtime friend to Venice where they meet with Elsa Schneider. Dr. Schneider had worked with Henry Jones before he went missing and with the help of Indiana and his fathers 'grail diary' they discover a very important clue as to where the Holy Grail is located.

Not soon after this Indiana and Elsa involve themselves in a chase that leads them through the canals of Venice and discover that a group known as The Brotherhood of the Cruciform Sword, has sworn to protect the Holy Grail and it's location at any cost. From here Indiana learns of his father's whereabouts and sets off to find him.

Jones and Dr. Schneider set off for a castle along the German border where Henry Jones is being held. As Indy meets up with his father we soon discover that Elsa Schneider has been working with the Nazis to bring them Dr. Jone's grail diary. Jones Jr. and Senior escape the castle and go after the journal before the Nazis can uncover the location of the Holy Grail and reign over the world with an unstoppable army of evil.
