    Set seven years after the events of inFamous 2, Second Son stars a new protagonist, Delsin Rowe, who fights back against government oppression and must face off with his own brother in the process. It takes place in the city of Seattle, Washington, the first real location used in the series.

    Does the story and game in general make any sense if i haven't played the previous games?

    As someone who just played it and have played the previous two, there's really nothing in it that references the events of the previous games, other than that "something" happened "7 years ago".

    The story is a little weird though, doesn't really feel all that complete. The previous games did that a little better.

    Yes, the story in inFamous 1&2 is pretty terrible.
