I just got a new 32 GB iPod Touch for my graduation gift(I bought a cover for it myself) and I am wondering what Apps I should get?  They can be free or cost money(as long as it's not too expensive).
 
So, which ones would you recommend?

Plants vs Zombies works really well on the iPhone/iPod Touch

a good one to get for the ipod touch is a wifi checker so you can look for wifi when you are not in a designated place.

Facebook, skype and twitterific for s. linking 
SFIV, Tap Tap Revenge and plants vs zombies are pretty much the only games you need 
FStream to listen to internet radio 
Flashlight 
Shazam is an app that can recognize music played near the microphones(Do new iTouch's have mics? I dunno) 
Eliminate pro is a pretty good free fps game but myeah i find the controls to be pretty shit 

The app I've used most is Wolfenstein 3D.  Aside from that I can recommend Hook Champ, Angry Birds, Bird Strike, Minigore, Inkvaders, Pocket Legends and Trace.  I haven't played it yet but Car Jack Streets is free today, so that might be worth trying out.

Just got a touch a few months back.  Here is my list of must have games and apps.
 
Plants vs. Zombies  -this game is perfect on a touch screen
Flight Control -this is one game I sometimes wish didnt have because my friends always want to play it and its hard to get my ipod back after. 
Ms Pacman -I play this game the most, but I love pacman.

Apps:
Friendz - this is a free friends list tracker for Xbox 360.  There are many of these things out there, I have tried most of them and this is the best.  You can see your list, see what games people are playing, messages , add friends.  its great and its free.  There are paid ones too but I wouldnt bother. this one is great.

1337pwn - a pain to setup, but it will allow you to see who's online on Xbox 360.

The most important one though, Peggle. I got it on sale, but I have almost played that game to 100% completion now...

Does anyone know what day of the week Ipod games and apps drop?  Is there a release day every week like on the PSN and Live Marketplace or is it just whenever.  
 
Im waiting on this really cool game coming up called FixPix.  Looks fun and a perfect game for Ipod.
