For those of you who have been waiting to take the plunge, KoA is now $39.99 on Amazon. 
 
I really love this game.  I hope more peeps will give it a chance at this price.

Sad that people aren't putting out money on a fantastic game. = /

Also, this is the typical EA fashion - drop the game to $40 a couple months after release.

Damn them! trying to increase sales!

I'm interested but based on the expansive dlc that is being released seems like the inevitable collection is the way to go.

@jakob187: I would say it is typical for any company to drop the price of a game that isnt selling a few months after its release.

I don't think it's even in stock anymore in Australia, it probably is, but I haven't seen it since launch day when I got it.

Tempted to get this, but I would prefer to see it on Steam for cheaper...

I have put 70 hours in to the game. I got it for $40 about two weeks after launch on a sale at Best Buy or something. It's amazing how often games go on sale a few weeks after release. I just bought SSX on sale at Best Buy for $29.99 yesterday.

The demo didn't really grab me.  And I'm assuming there's all kinds of expansion stuff to come out soon, anyway.  When it's inevitably on sale on Steam, maybe I'll bite.  I'm picking up Xenoblade Chronicles tomorrow (hell yeah, Canada), so that'll keep my RPG itch scratched for a hundred hours, at least.

Won't buy this game until it's sub $10 on Steam. Sorry.

It was one of the most forgettable gaming experiences in recent memory for me, if I hadn't paid full price already I'd wait for a much much lower price before recommending it to anyone personally.

@ModerateViolence: Couldn't agree more. What a boring story and game. I'm about halfway through and not sure if I will ever go back.

wait, i thought that was a ubisoft thing.

I liked KOA but eventually the game just became boring and repetative. Most of the quests are just fetch or kill quests without much interesting happening and you end up fighting the same enemies over and over again just in a new area. The game is also piss easy even on hard. I wish I would have waited instead of buying full price. I did get a good 70 hours out of it but I can not stomach the idea of getting back into it and repeating those 100s of quests. The game is just not interesting in terms of locations. tasks and characters. Also, the fighting is just repetative and you just spam the same moves every fight.

I couldn't find it in any stores either, I ended up having to get it online. Although, the prices they were trying to sell it for I think I came out in front anyway.

Seriously though, charging over 90 for it. Eurgh.

I think it's about time for me to take a break from Skyrim.

Oh, $40 for Kingdoms of Amalur? Perfect. :)
