I initially was gonna get the 360 version of L4D because some friends are looking forward to it that don't got good PC's....but everything I've seen frm it has been PC gameplay so far..and just look at TF2, its 100 fold better on the PC... I think I'll probably end up just buying it PC and gameflying 360 version to check it out in the end.

    nice vids btw Van.

I know, I wish I had a good PC so that I could play it on there. If you got a PC that can handle it, I would definitely get it there.

Its more for people who are looking forward to the next PC game from Valve...if you're referring to its release next to big titles on the console, they aren't going to affect this at all, anyone who is interested in the game will still buy it, mostly on PC though.

I mostly agree, but same release date with Gears 2 would probably effect any game. But in my opinion, I will buy this over Gears, even on 360, because Gears 2 looks like more of the same (don't hate, but it does look very similar to the first, I still think it looks good) while L4D looks like something completely new.

    Its a valve game.

    Buy it on PC.

Team Fortress 2 is a good example of valve supporting their products on their platform (steam).

Exactly. I'm also looking forward to L4D way more than Gears 2... I just love when new original IP's come out from a great company ..looking absolutely awesome is a bonus.

Well Valve was going to release the class updates on 360 but Microsoft would not allow them to do it unless they charged money for it. So Valve waited until they had a few updates out (Medic, Pyro, Heavy) so they could release it on Live for one price and it would be a decent deal. So its not like they don't support the 360 version at all. This story explains it a little.

We know this.... its just the PC community will always be better for valves games. On top of custom maps/mods and such, it will just always be a stronger community. Even besides that  and steam being free and the best thing to ever happen to any platform, just playing these games with a mouse&keyboard is reason enough...any fps feels better with it, and valves game especially...they just feel like they aren't made to ever be played with a controller, like Unreal or Quake games.
