Poll LEGO Games on Sale: Which Are Worth It? (52 votes)

    Super Marvel Heroes 65%
The Lord of the Rings 50%
Batman 2 DC Super Heroes 40%
    Batman 15%
    Harry Potter 1-4 4%
    Harry Potter 5-7 6%

Despite bashing LEGO games for their repetitive nature, I have yet to play one (played 5 minutes of Batman 2 on my Vita...).

I'm guessing Super Marvel Heroes is good as is LOTR. The others I'm not sure about, both in terms of subject matter and age, by which I mean the older the get the simpler they must be, due to the reiterative process.

I haven't played any since the original Star Wars ones, so I can't say personally. Everyone seemed to think the Marvel one was the shit though.

I thought the Marvel one people liked? Huh, I would be curious to finally play one of these games, LotR is the one I would gravitate towards but maybe the older (non-talking ones) are actually better.

On a side note, remember those Harry Potter GBA RPG's? Those were the shit. Too bad it didn't really go anywhere, seeing as how HP RPGs didn't quite fit the target demo.

marvel was fun but short compared to others when it can down to story missions. I think lotr was the best imho. you can tell some real fans were behind the making of that game. having the actual dialog ripped straight from the films was just fantastic. never touched the harry potters cuz im not a fan...but honestly I enjoy every lego have so ill probably buy them eventually

Yeah, I think I'd go with the Lord of the Rings one. The dialog being from the movie is fucking hilarious. Made for a great quick look.

I think the last one of those listed that I played was Lego Batman, after that they started talking. Lego City Undercover on the Wii U was pretty good though, and that Lego Movie was great. I guess my stance on the "Should Legos talk" debate is only if they're not a licensed IP.

Lego Marvel is sick as hell. All the other ones are pretty much reskins of one another to my understanding.

I have not enjoyed any one them. I always find myself stuck every few levels and having no god damn idea what I'm supposed to do or where to go next because there's some little switch or lever that's hidden somewhere. Just go with whatever your favourite of the franchises are.

Lord of the Rings is far and away my favourite, but I love those movies.

Kind of all of them. Buy based on the movies you like I guess. I'm not even a comic super hero person and I still liked the Marvel game.

I've got Star Wars: Complete Saga, Indiana Jones: Original Adventures, and The Lord of the Rings all on PS3. And Marvel Super Heroes on PS4. Annnnd I haven't completed any of them for some dumb reason.

Haven't played the others but I've heard people like all of those as well.

Really enjoyed my time with Lego Batman 2, even though I didn't like some of the controls and how small the open-world felt. Played Lego Marvel and felt pretty much the same feelings except the scale is much bigger. Being able to fly as Iron Man from the ground up to the Helicarrier is an awesome feeling.

Lego Harry Potter 5-7 is the high point of the series.

I think it pretty much boils down to which of those series you have an affinity for. Personally I loved Lego HP 1-4, and want to start playing Lego HP 5-7 at some point soon, but I have absolutely no desire to play any of the other ones.

I really enjoyed Harry Potter 1-4. Haven't finished 5-7, wasn't enjoying it as much as 1-4 but it was still fun. Other games just kinda happened and bumped it onto the backlog.

I still need to play LOTR. Been sitting in my Steam Library like 40 other games, but it seems cool from what I've seen of it.

The marvel one has a huge open world and has some really cool ideas. I think the LOTR one does too but I didn't play it as much.

Play whatever franchise you like the most and make sure you have someone to play with.
