    As the actual competition aspect of the game is points (aka those glowing balls), do you lose a certain amount of points everytime you die? a lot of video as been shown of the game though thats one aspect I was unsure about. Surely dieing as to have some sort of penalty!

    That, I don't know about, but there's the manual you can get online, maybe you'll find the answer there. I haven't looked at it yet, I'm going to wait so I'll have something to read on the way home from the store.

    I guess the person who creates the level could set a limited amount of respawns that the player can have when dying, or maybe the host of a co-op game could do that.
