Founded in 1923, Luxor were mostly known for their TV's, radios and home audio receivers, but they also launched a video game console (Fairchild Channel F System II built under license as the Luxor Video Entertainment System) and along with Dataindustrier AB, or DIAB, a series of affordable home computers, labelled the ABC series (Advanced BASIC Computer), starting with Zilog Z80 based ABC 80 in 1978, ABC 800 in 1981 and Motorola MC68k based ABC 1600 in 1985.
