"Not the face!" Let me first preface this review by saying that I was never a Madden guy. Even back in the SNES and Genesis days, my sports games of choice were always NBA Jam and EA’s NHL games. When consoles moved away from sprites and into polygons, I often times found myself enjoying the Gameday and 2K games more than Madden. The good: Pro tak- people can put 9 people on a single tackle! You can break out of some tackles. Slowness- The game is slowed down so you are running slower and everyone else is too so if you pick a 99 speed guy it feels like he is on turbo! Online Franchise- get to play with 31 other people and see who wins The Championship!!!! Madden 10 is the best one they have released this generation but it still needs work. They got the speed right but still need to work on the presentation. Do not get me wrong they have come a long way from past Madden but they still need a little work. For crying out loud they have the ESPN license and still have not done that much with it. How Well Does Madden Hold Up After All These Years? 0
This game is solid, but some of the flaws (major and minor) hold this title back from being excellent. The graphics took a turn for the worst while the animation stepped up its game. The sound is just as good as last year, but thats not saying much. If it wasn't for the for the ugly graphics and the repetitive commentary I would easily give it a 5 but since thats not the case lets see what else this game has to offer. Madden NFL 10 is a very realistic and fun game to play. Madden 10 is great for when your playing against someone online or at home but when you play alone you will get bored after the first quater.Why? This game has been so real for me. When I first played my first season with the Dolphins it was like I was watching them on real TV. Madden 10 is so like real life its not even funny..It looks amazing in Hd.I love this game.I don't think any madden game can beat this game. Best sport game in YEARS!!!...
