    Magnetic Fields (formerly known as Mr. Chip Software)  was a prolific game developer primarily creating many of the nominal racing games available for early computer systems such as the Amiga or Commodore 64. The company was founded as Mr. Chip Software by Andrew Morris and Shaun Southern in 1982 and created games such as the Kikstart series. The company renamed itself to Magnetic Fields and went on to became famous for launching the Lotus series of racing games. Other games developed by Magnetic Fields include the Supercars series, 4 Wheel Drive and Rally Championship. The company released one game for next-gen consoles in 1999 ( Mobil 1 Really Championship) but vanished from the game developer scene shortly after.
