I played MvC to the hilt but I never got around to playing MvC2...ever. This might be a dumb question but is the music in the game limited to just battle stages or do some (if not most) characters have their own theme music when they fight?

Yes the game is limited to stage music but for the XBL and PSN releases you will be able to play music that you have on your console instead of the ingame music.

The music is pretty terrible in MvC2 compared to the original MvC. It was probably done like that because there are just too many damn characters.
