So, I finished ME2 with an character imported character from ME1.
And now I want to start a new game with the same character in ME2 to get the level 30 achievement, but I most likely won't end up finishing the whole game this time.
 
And I was wondering if this will stop me from importing it in to ME3, Or can I just import the character with one finished play through and one half?
 
Has anyone done this with ME1?

Sorry, but I really need an answer.

They count as two separate characters I believe.

I think you can but you need to have a save game of that character which is saved after you complete the game.

It shouldn't stop you from importing to ME3.

Your initial level 2X playthrough will be flagged as complete and transfer.
 
Your second level 30 playthrough will be incomplete and not transfer.
 
You were awarded better bonuses for ME1 -> ME2 transfers if your character was higher level in the form of additional XP and resources.  You may want to consider completing your level 30 playthrough as well if you plan on transferring it to ME3.
