I have two problems. One of them might be because I´m totally stupid wich I´m willing to buy but the other one is a bit wierder and I´d thought I check to see if anyone is experiencing similar problems. 
 
1. It dosen´t read any of my savefiles from Mass 1 as Valid Mission Complete. I had to dig them out from an old 2007 memory stick and I´ve tried 2 different characters with whom I completed Mass 1. Not valid.. Anyone experienced anything similar? 
 
2. The Preorder code for the inferno armor is supposed to be redeemed at the LIVE marketplace since there´s no code redeeming outside of the Cerberus code in-game (unless I´m missing something here). The thing is tho, LIVE codes are 25 characters and it puts a "-" after 5. So its XXXXX-XXXXX e.t.c. The code I got on my preorder flyer is 16 with 4 x 4 set of characters. Just like the cerberus one. Still it tells me to redeem it as usual on the marketplace. Umm. what? Am I missing something here?

1. If you have started a new game with old character in Mass Effect (1), you will need to finish that game in order to use that character in ME2. I had the same problem but fortunately I had a save game right at the end of the game. 
2. No idea.

1.  Are you trying to get the game to read your ME1 saves from the memory card?  it won't work if you are.  It needs to be on your hard drive.
 
2.  Go to masseffect.com and enter the promo-code there.  You most likely have an EA account already (you made one if you played an EA game in the last year or so), so sign into masseffect.com with your EA account and then enter the promo-code.
