" "  Start getting caught up on your firmware now." -----I don't get this. "

PS3 firmware updates take a comically long time to download to do pretty much nothing, at least in comparison to other console and hardware firmware updates.  This might have changed though, I'm not sure.  You might not of really noticed if you've always had a stellar connection, but I got the joke.

    "Approaching like shopping friend!" Lollercoaster.

Anyway, I'll probably be getting this, just because if ME3 hits day and date on PS3, that's what I'll be playing it on.

Yes, he was a great character, but his overall narrative importance was pretty shitty compared to pretty much everyone else. He was free, though, so that was cool.

Updates take a few minutes to install (for some reason..), not download, which is near-instant nowadays. Even when it was bad, it was many times due to network congestion. Brad's comment, though, harkens back to the days when 360 fanboys in game coverage would find it acceptable to tell blatant lies about how many "firmwares" they had to download the rare occasion they even bothered to turn on their PS3. I don't care if he doesn't like the system, but covering (read: copying/pasting) a big release announcement with a bullshit fanboy statement is just a dick-move.

" i own a ps3, though ive already played it on pc, so not interested. especially a year after release. if you arent going to release similarly close to the original release date i can't see the point. (dont get me wrong, this is my game of the year.) "
What do you mean you can't see the point? I would have thought it was pretty obvious. Lot's of people (most people) don't own all the consoles. Therefore lots of people haven't had a chance to play ME2 yet. I don't own a PS3 and if Uncharted 2 was released in January for the 360 I would sure as hell be getting it. Over a year late or not.
