i have been play ing mass effect 1 and 2 to get ready for the third one and some characters need to return like miranda,jacob,modrin and my favorte krogen grunt.

so what characters should retunr. 

All of them!

It'd be nice to see most of them, but the two I'm dying to have return are Morinth and Tali.  They are my assassination squad.  Everyone else can kick rocks.  I wouldn't mind seeing Zaheed back.  I never really used him but he garnered a special place in my heart when he set that guy on fire and watched him burn alive during his loyalty mission.

Bioware has already established that every major character (provided they aren't dead due to the player's actions in previous titles) will make a return in some form. As to whether or not they'll be a squad member is less clear. Whether or not they'll all appear if you start out fresh on ME3 rather than importing a save is also unclear.

Garrus and Tali. It would be nice if the rest made a comeback, but those are the only two essentials.

That Veran that would follow me around Tuchanka. I'd love for me to be able to get a pet Veran for combat <3

Everyone else can be new...or those are the only characters I get.

Although I love Thane, dude should be dead by three though.

Jack for sure, but Mordin, Thane.......and Wrex and Garrus for story continuity.  Liara I guess as well(pretty obvious she's gonna have a key role anyway).

I for one think Jacob sucks, some people I would like back include Thane, Legion, Garrus, Grunt, Jack or Miranda, and Tali.

If they survived, they should return.

Every single one that survived. Though I can kind of understand if someone like Zaeed or Kasumi don't return, since you could kind of spin that as "they were in contracts with Cerberus paid for by Cerberus money" and that's all over, now, so they're moving on.

Though that'd be kind of disappointing.

Just what we need, twenty goddamned characters to follow you around. Well, I can appreciate having most of them return or at least have valid cameos.

Well Jack better return. She cried on my shoulders, that's gotta be worth something.

Tali, shes been my partner for the first two games.

All the characters that survived should be come back, but maybe not all join Shep's crew.
I wouldn't mind seeing Captain Kirrahe back either.

Legion and Tali. Don't care about the rest. They should probably mention what your ME2 crew is up to in some detail though.

I need Garrus, he's by far my favorite. I really do enjoy Tali as well as Miranda. Of course they will always need to have Joker in there. I am also a big fan of Liara, I find her social ineptness quite entertaining.
