New Classes

(Adept) N7 Fury: Throw, Annihilation Field*, Dark Channel

"Fury operatives use implants to fuel biotics and their incredible movement speed. These operatives wind an unpredictable path on the battlefield, moving in and out of combat before returning to unleash a sweeping biotic attack on their unsuspecting targets."

(Soldier) N7 Destroyer: Multi-Frag Grenade*, Missile Launcher*, Devastator Mode*

"The Destroyer's T5-V Battlesuit gives these strong-but-slow soldiers mech-like protection. Driven by eezo-assisted actuators, these frontline troopers carry heavy weapons onto the battlefield."

(Engineer) N7 Demolisher: Homing Grenade*, Arc Grenade, Supply Pylon*

"The Demolisher uses grenades to attack at range and to terrorize the battlefield. Demolishers can also create a supply pylon that stocks allies with an unending reserve of grenades and thermal reloads."

(Sentinel) N7 Paladin: Snap Freeze*, Incinerate, Energy Drain

"The Paladin carries a powerful omni-shield onto the battlefield to block enemy fire. The Paladin also uses the shield as a heavy-melee weapon that, when modified with incindiery or cryo upgrades, creates a devastating combination attack."

(Infiltrator) N7 Shadow: Tactical Cloak, Shadow Strike, Electric Slash*

"Shadow infiltrators use implants to dramatically improve agility, making them slippery combatants on the battlefield. Their monomolecular blades are a menace from cover and close range."

(Vanguard) N7 Slayer: Phase Disruptor*, Biotic Charge, Biotic Slash*

In addition to the new Maps, Weapons and Classes, Bioware is adding a PLATINUM! difficulty.

Well, damn. I guess I'm not finished playing the multiplayer. I wasn't quite sure about the inclusion of multiplayer for ME3 when it was announced, but it's been pretty fun.

@BraveToaster: I've spent over 300 hours and still loving the game. It's a love for the universe that helps, being able to play all those races I've always wanted to. These humans are fine but I want more aliens, Turian Female!

Is that a melee class? ever since that rumor went round of a melee only class before launch I have wished to play as one. Like many people here im seeing a definite possibility for more Mass Effect 3 multiplayer.

The multiplayer is pretty damn fun. Although I am stuck doing bronze runs over and over again.. But at least I dominate at those. :P

I like the look of the Paladin, a defensive option seems very useful for most of the missions.

@SmasheControllers: Yes, Turian female, and a few Prothean characters would be nice. It would be awesome to have a map set up on a Prothean settlement.

@BraveToaster: There are a ton of maps I'd love to see. Eden Prime, the Ardat-Yakshi Monastery and some ME 1 maps, but what I really want is Collector Enemies.

Same here...I can't seem to find a solid core of people to play with on a regular basis, but every once in a while I feel sassy and survive a Silver!

I didn't mean tool like "Oh god I can't believe this videogame character can be so mean" I meant tool like, "what the fuck did they put in a cyber ninja for? Why couldn't he just be an assassin, and why do they have to go out of their way to show me how bad-ass he is?" He feels like he got dropped from a 90's comic book.

Thane was an assassin, but he actually fit in. Kai Leng felt like they tried to hard. Also I'm happy he was in the books, I didn't want to read them so it felt really out of place when he just showed up as this shadow ninja badass.

It's hard to believe that they keep making these free multi-player DLCs. I haven't played in a month and a half now ever since I got yelled at for playing an Asari adept with the Mantis sniper rifle... bubble stasis and headshot was awesome plus the Mantis was my best weapon at the time and I couldn't get a drop for a heavy pistol to save the life of me. Anyways, yeah this looks pretty cool.

Holy shit dude they look awesome , the guy with the big onmi-shield and Robo-Kasumi look pretty rad , I'm more excited to get those classes than the previous ones ... well except for the Geth the Geth are the coolest.

@AngelN7: The first DLC had my three favorite characters(Justicar, Geth Engineer and Batarian Soldier), the last DLC was okay but the class were exactly the same and this DLC looks amazing.

  • Three new maps - Firebase Rio, Firebase Vancouver and Firebase London
  • Six new characters - N7 Demolisher Engineer, N7 Destroyer Soldier, N7 Fury Adept, N7 Sentinel Paladin, N7 Shadow Infiltrator and N7 Slayer Vanguard
  • Three new weapons - N7 Piranha Shotgun, N7 Typhoon Assault Rifle and Acolyte Pistol
  • New upgrades - 12 new weapon modifications and 11 unique upgrades
  • Assault Rifle Omni-Blade

@SmasheControllers: Yeah I didn't care all that much for the Vorcha or the Batarians, the Asari justicar and Krogan BM are pretty cool but I haven't got those nor the Geth engineer or any of the male Quarians (but from the looks of it their skills they don't seem all that interesting to me) and since my favorite class still is the Human Engineer it's nice that they made another one of those hopefully with interesting skills. I wasn't feeling the last DLC or those maps (Firebase jungle is alright) but this DLC got my full attention again.

@AngelN7: Battlemaster, Batarian and Vorcha Sentinel were a huge disappointment. Justicar is the best Tank in the game, Geth Engineer and Male Quarian are great amazing Support characters, Geth's Turrets heal and Tac Scan allows the team to focus fire on a single target, Batarian Soldier is a Phantom killer machine, best heavy melee in the game!

Said it before, I'll say it again - the multiplayer for this game far outweighs the shitfest of the single player. Supply pylon thing looks amazing.

More great free ME3 mp DLC..woo hoo. Also another version of Human Engineer? SMG recoil system? Platinum diff added? New objective mode as well? Too fucking awesome. Also, pretty sure it's been confirmed that all this will not be UR , but just rare cards. Time to save up some creds :).

@pweidman: Yeah so glad the character's are not N7's, though they haven't said anything about the weapons, I think the Typhoon and Piranha are N7s but the Acolyte will only be a Rare. Really want that Pistol, I want my Justicar to be using Asari weapons.

This pack is absolutely huge 3 maps, 3 weapons, 6 classes, 12 mods, 11 gears and one new objective.

Some info from SDCC that users from Reddit and the BSN posted.

Fury: Dark Channel's the same as it is in the singleplayer and both the Fury and Slayers evade uses Barriers like Asari's and it's a Nightcrawler style teleport.

Destroyer: Multi-Frag is wrist-mounted and still has a limited use like other grenades, Missile Launcher is shoulder mounted it's like a much more powerful Concussive Shot and Devastator Mode is pretty much AR and Marksman combine increases Damage, Rate of Fire, Ammo and Health but slows movement.

Paladin: Snap Freeze is just a more powerful Cryo Blast, Paladin's melee is a Shield Bash and Heavy Melee is a Defensive mode where he stands still with the shield.

Shadow: Shadow Strike is a teleport like in singleplayer and it's hitscan, Electric Slash is like Shockwave but with a sword animation and her heavy melee is the Phantom's insta-gib animation.

@N7: Geth are so Cheap at this point I don't think I can even try Platinum, Cerberus and Reapers combine would still be easier than Geth alone.

@SmasheControllers: I see everyone say that Cerberus is the easiest but dem Phantom's always, and I mean ALWAYS totally fuck us up. I don't think I've played a single game of Cerberus without getting my salad tossed by them.
The concept of banshee's and phantom's and prime's running around on a difficulty higher than gold, is terrifying.

@N7: Geth is stunlock central, not fun at all. I don't play Engi or Infl much so that could be an issue, Biotics and Weapons kill organics fast.

They should make a map big enough to have a Harverster on it, have them land shoot at people and then leave to come back again in another wave , I'm hoping at some point they introduce new units that would be pretty cool, not a new enemy per se ( I still think brining other organics enemies or Terminus system mercs wouldn't make the challenges feel all that different) but there's room for Reaper reverse engineered Quarians and Drells (even if that didn't happen in the story) , new units for Cerberus and those squishy Geth from ME1 that stick to walls.

Anyway, Bioware dude at ComicCon said all weps and characters are rares not UR, confirmed on twitter too I heard. Anyway, the new footage from the show is looking very good. The new maps look pretty massive comparitively. That new engineer with the granade spamming canister looks too fun. Paladin class looks good too; awesome shield. Can't wait for this DLC to drop. Grinding up creds is tedious as hell though. Come on Tuesday.
