Meiko Ibarazaki is the mother of Emi Ibarazaki, and according to Hisao, an older version of Emi. Noting that the two act very much the same. She has a teasing sense of humour, much like Emi, and has once made fun of Hisao and Rin by saying she thought that they were dating.
She appears multiple times throughout the game, making her main appearance in Emi's route when Hisao is invited to the Ibarazaki household for dinner. Her husband died in a car crash, also taking the legs of Emi. This inspired Emi to become a runner just like her father, even with prosthetic legs.
