It may be just me but getting the HD HD port now makes the HDHDHD port coming out in like 5 years when we will wait for the next get a bit strange.

@danteveli: If they put them all out on PC then it shouldn't matter ever again. I should install the PC version of MGS2 for funzies...

The HD collection stuff seemed like a waste with the Legacy collection that came out on PS3 but now that's pretty hard to get a hold of so... yay?

As far as I am concerned, the existence of whatever this is is completely justified it if means we finally get a version of MGS4 that does not run like absolute crap. MGS4 was released close to the launch of the PS3, and boy, does it play like it.

I'd buy it. Girlfriend borrowed my MGS HD and if I could get a complete pack (especially for PS4) she can keep it :)

I can't find a copy of the legacy collection anywhere, so hopefully this will be like that.

You know, Kojima's been trying to push a metal gear line since MGS4, so I don't think this is much of a surprise. But I often think I could get all of that for less by shopping at a Salvation Army instead.

Need some help duders. Metal Gear Scanlon got me hooked. The only Metal Gear I've played was 2 for the PS2. I want to play all of them now. I have a laptop, a 360, and a ps4. What do I need to do?

I am ignorant about what collections to get. I plan on playing them in order of release.

I've never played Metal Gear Solid before. If they released a collection of the games onto the new consoles or PC, I'd definitely be willing to give it a shot.

The easiest way is to get a PS3 and The Legacy Collection. You will need a PS3 to play 4 anyway.

Actually every game in the series (except MGS1) is on PS Now on PS4. The HD Collection (which is the MSX games, MGS2, MGS3 and Peace Walker) and 4.

If you get a Vita TV when its out you can play them all via PSN or PS Now, including MGS1.
