Woohoo!
Can we stop ragging on Capcom now?
@BBQBram: No.
MK all up in this.
good reminder for me to go play some more of that action
@BBQBram: I don't think it's the same thing. This is just a "GOTY" version with all the DLC. If you bought the original game and all the DLC you do not need this one. Capcom's stuff is usually all-new, so if you bought the original MvC3 you need to buy UMvC3 to get all the characters and modes.

this just collects the previous dlc. it is not dicking customers around like you get with capcom double dips.
Seems weird to me they way they talk about it. Why would you buy this if you already have the game? It's just the dlc right?
This is just their "Game Of The Year Edition".
No PC version again? Oh come on.

The guy in the trailer made it pretty clear that they are making this to work with the original version of the game as well. The emphasis he put on that was almost directly aimed at the lack of foresight Capcom has had with their games - releasing fighting games without the proper pieces required for them to update and release new characters. Though part of me believes that there is no ignorance on Capcom's behalf, but rather that they've discovered a borderline gross way to release nearly the same game twice, in a way that forces fans to 'update' through dropping another entrance fee.

goty edition is not the same as ultimate version, super edition, arcade edition, super duper ultimate arcade edition.
This version allows the DLC characters to be played at tournaments like EVO.
What's the point in re-releasing a game that already had a ton of problems that were never properly addressed or fixed?
Ah. Money.
GGPO says hi. Not going anywhere near this mess... um, again.
Alright I am getting over there just hold your pants on.

Those sons of bitches! Releasing new games... What assholes...
Yeah it's just the game and all the DLC. So if you've already got Mortal Kombat then I don't think this is for you.
So basically, they just kept repeating that all the characters from DLC are in the game from the start. Cool story bros?

In this case, it is. All you are arguing is syntax which is entirely irrelevant.
EDIT: Yeah, I'm wrong. It's just the characters from Mortal Kombat. I thought they meant they were adding in a bunch of old, new characters.
EDIT 2: I don't know. It's weird. At least if you get a new edition of a, let's say, Street Fighter IV, you are getting tons of useful tweaks and some cool new characters and stuff you haven't seen. I don't know. I find this weird.
