I've been playing the game for a while now, but I noticed how the night vision isn't in multiplayer. I might be wrong, and I would like to be corrected because I used NVG quite frequently in COD4. There seem to be many corners that are quite dark, where it would be beneficial to use night vision goggles.
 
So, anyone else miss the night vision in multiplayer?
 
And if they are actually are in multiplayer, I would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to enable them. (maybe I need to be of higher rank?)

No not that I know of.

The closest you can come is a thermal sight, I believe. I agree that it's weird that traditional night vision isn't in there, though.

Yeah there's no Night-Vision. Barring a couple corners in the caves on afghan and a bit of underpass, I don't really see the need for it though.

After a while, I kept my night vision on at all times in CoD4...for three good reasons:   

• Makes it much easier to spot corner campers quickly
• Anyone watching Killcam got an eye strain from Hell
• If you can get a kill during broad daylight with night vision blinding you, then you're a badass

They should do a map where its pitch black and you can only see with NVGs. That would be awesome.

There should just be a night mode for all maps would be so fun
