I was done with a long time ago and now it over for sure, going to sell on Trademe.co.nz and get most of my money's back. Now to buy RDR and be happy. 
 
I first released this once my friends just stopped playing it and I booted it up today and "No, it's over for realz dawg!". 
 
Have you opted and sold your MW2?

I stopped playing it a few weeks after release. The worst part, I actually went to a midnight launch for this garbage. And worst, I forced myself to sell CoD 4 and go cold turkey months before MW2's release so MW2 would be sweeter... what a fool I was. 

Nope. I actually enjoyed the game.

I thought it was mad overrated.
Couldn't sell it because I bought the PC ver (ie that one which links up you Steam account).
 
Damn it.

I haven't sold it, but I never play it anymore. I just don't have the time  to get good at it. 

I guess if you need the money for the trade.. but the game is still way fun. You guys need to stop getting rid of games.

i sold it after a few weeks. I guess after i had played with all the new gun combinations and had the maps down i was done.
 
I had my fun with it and resold it for quite a decent price. It was essentially a cheap hooker. I think i'm pretty done with cod multiplayer forever. Getting to level 50 once and 20 in the second is enough cod to last me a lifetime, i really dont understand how people play anymore.

This. I tried to play again recently but every single FFA match I went into had nuke boosters. Assholes make the game unplayable. "

I don't play it anymore, but I still enjoyed it when I had played it. I can see myself playing through the single player again at a future date so it'd be a waste to sell. However, I had bought a copy of Uncharted 2 for myself while I was at Uni, then found out my dad also bought one for himself to play. So I sold my copy and can just use his whenever - used that money towards Red Dead. Awesome.

I sold it a while back. Best decision ever. 

Stopped playing a while ago but my friends have yet to see the light and continue to play that game, so I end up all by myself on games I actually enjoy.

I still enjoy the game. I play Bad Company 2 more often than MW2 these days but going back is always a refresher.

I bought it on Steam and didn't even play it for a week. 

I've stopped playing, but I won't sell it. I like to go back sometimes and I also hate selling games. I like having a collection.

I can't sell my copy because it's cracked (as in physically, not illegal).

I stopped playing a little before the Reach Beta went live and have been concentrating on a few SP games, but I think nows the time for me to jump back in. Till Reach comes out, at least.

ITT: people who hated MW2 coming into the MW2 forum apparently MONTHS after they've stopped playing to bitch about it.

I just started playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. I played the single player and spec ops last November, then traded it in. I recently came back to Modern Warfare 2, because games like MAG and Battlefield BC 2 are only fun online if you have close friends to play with and everybody wears a mic. I personally think Battlefield is over rated.(The single player sucks) In Modern warfare, I play team deathmatch express. I can play 4 to 5 matches in a half an hour, and get a lot of kills and perks and have a lot of fun.

I have similar feelings. This blog should sum up my opinions on it. MW2 hasnt changed a bit since they released that game. 

I'm pretty much done for the most part, but I have friends who for some reason refuse to playing anything else! so I sometimes get on! But with all these new games coming, I'm going to be happily getting off MW2. They killed something great, its pretty sad.

I fucking downloaded mine illegally! Worst decision I ever made. It just filled up my HDD. So yeah, cracked version, in other words, never touched the MP. Single-player was alright thou.

It isn't as bad as you all make out, lol.

I really enjoyed it while I was playing it and I was quite good at it.  But it grew old super quick to me.  You can only shoot so many guys in the face.

I tried it a few times last week after not playing for months and did horrible!  I liked CoD4 much better.

i haven't even touched my xbox for like 2 months

I played it for the first time in ages last night, will probably get back into it.

I think MW2 is a great game. However, unlike everyone else who stopped playing because of the glitches and bugs in multiplayer, I just think there are way more compelling games elsewhere.

sold it back in december. i just wasn't having fun. In any case i've got too many games to play what with uncharted 2 and BFBC2 for the online and demons souls for the single player. Just finished red dead too :)

I think I'll hold on to it until Black Ops, but I think my friends will still keep theirs so I'm not really sure. IMO, it's fun enough to overcome the flaws and glitches

nope actually a solid multiplayer experience, so I don't think I'll give up.

I'm done with the MP but i still play Spec Ops and the Campaign now and then.

Stopped after a month, once I realized I wasn't getting any better at the game. So I went back to Halo 3.
