Gameplay
Monster Legends is an island builder that allows the player to collect monsters and train them for battles in the wild or against players. The game offers an Adventure which allows players to battle monsters in the wild to gain experience for the monsters and the player so the player can unlock new environments.
Raising Monsters
The island the game takes place on allows monsters to be placed in habitats depending on their element (fire, water, etc.). The habitats start out by holding two monsters, but can be upgraded to house 4. The monsters can be fed food to gain experience. However, the player must build farms to grow food.
Battling
The monsters can battle in the Adventure Map, where completing different levels can gain the monsters experience and the player rewards. There will be a boss every 5 levels, and there are 100 levels. The system uses a turn-based RPG style in which the monsters' speed determines who attacks next. The player and the enemy can have three different monsters in the field at once. Only mlevel 4 or higher monsters can fight.
The game allows players to attack other players and take goods from their farm.
Hatching
New monsters can be obtained by hatching eggs. Rare eggs will generally take longer to hatch. Eggs can be won after battles or they can be made by breeding.
