Seriously, this might be the best SP M&B mod I have ever played, for those that ever found M&B SP to be a little lacking in direction this is for you, it follows a actual story line (albeit a little cliched one) with cutscenes and everything :)

While the vanilla SP campaign is just like "yeah man you are a guy that can recruit troops and take castles, do whatever" (which I at least love) this feels more like an actual RPG with characters that are gradually presented to you, sidequests and, like I said, an actual storyline, there are even ,some puzzles thrown in.

Gameplay wise is pretty much your vanilla M&B with some new systems thrown in, it does feature magic though(haven't got to that part yet, but I'm pretty sure you will be able to use magic at some point)

Also it was done by like 4 or 5 chinese people, at least as gameplay goes it feels really polished, all the new stuff they added works great, of course there's still your usual M&B jank but hey, but I must mention the english translation, it's so bad it ends up being funny, but not that bad that you can't understand what's going on, for me it's actually a plus :)

I hadn't touched M&B for like a year and then found this mod, now I'm hooked as hell all over again ;) anyway just wanted to share this with all you other M&B lovers out there.

I suppose I'll try it out.

Holy shit! M&B WB discussion! How does this compare to the Floris Mod pack?

It's completely different, while floris mode pack only tries to add several systems, items and all other kinds of stuff to the existing vanilla experience this one actually has a plot to follow, there's a main questline and all.

It does add new items and some new systems though, like stamina, being able to set your initial troop config, being able to set your companions as commanders, like you set one as a commander for infantry and depending on his/hers skill level there will be bonuses to all infantry units, among other things.

I also like how by only following the main quest line you already get plenty of challenge, and it is all following a very smooth and fair challenge curve, with the vanilla SP at some point you HAVE to affiliate yourself with a faction and start some warmongery if you want the challenge to keep up with you, but with this I feel like that's not really necessary, actually they kinda discourage you to do that by having a character say something like "well, I guess you could join a faction, but that could divert you from your true path"
