So here is an add for NBA 2K11 I found on the internet.
NBA Elite 11
Game » consists of 2 releases. Released Nov 05, 2010
EA's renamed basketball simulation set for an October 2010 release was cancelled at the last minute due to concerns over quality. The game was intended to introduce brand new control concepts and mechanics meant to innovate on the simulation basketball genre.
A dirty move by Take Two
I think a dirty move is buying the exclusivity rights to the NFL and then releasing sub par games......
I think that it is kind of a dirty move. Especially when you take in to the count, that NBA 2K games have been better then EA games. "I hate you.
" I think a dirty move is buying the exclusivity rights to the NFL and then releasing sub par games...... "*sigh...* is that deal almost over yet? should be right? ...right...?
On topic. Is it dirty cause the Great One is holding a PS3 controller and not a 360?
If you put out a pile of shit demo you can't really be mad when people make fun of it. Especially when they are funny about it.
" I think the joke is that the person is doing the Jesus pose like Andrew Bynum did in that Elite Youtube video. :) "Ahhhhh xD
OK, that's pretty funny. It's just coincidence though as that's just a Jordan pose.
Wow, I feel stupid for not recognizing that. Thanks though. :P
I'm too lazy to find the video.
Edit: I guess Michael Jordan is the original Broken Man?
" @Axxol: Well, yeah. I hope my Latvian origin will help you in your quest. "Not doing a quest, just thought that sentence was funny. You know about sarcasm?
" "take in to the count" Please make up more phrases. I'll follow you! "It gets better when he uses the word "then" and it should be "than". That happens far too often on the internet.
" I think a dirty move is buying the exclusivity rights to the NFL and then releasing sub par games...... "
ROFL That's pretty funny. I don't doubt that it's true.
I see nothing wrong with the ad at the top, though. Nothing jumps out at me as anything more than normal advertising hyperbole.
" @intoblivion said:What would you doubt? It's something that happened." I think a dirty move is buying the exclusivity rights to the NFL and then releasing sub par games...... "ROFL That's pretty funny. I don't doubt that it's true. "
That's why there aren't NFL 2k games anymore. EA owns the exclusive license to the NFL Players Association.
" @dantey said:He also calls the "ad" an "add".I think that it is kind of a dirty move. Especially when you take in to the count, that NBA 2K games have been better then EA games. "I hate you. "
" @DragonBloodthirsty said:This is the sad truth. I still play NFL 2K5 from time to time. *tear*" @intoblivion said:What would you doubt? It's something that happened. " I think a dirty move is buying the exclusivity rights to the NFL and then releasing sub par games...... "Ea buying the rights to he NFL wasn't a dirty move, it was the only move they had if they wanted to continue the Madden franchise. The NFL wanted an exclusive deal with one company and EA won that bidding war.
