Ninja Gaiden 3 will arrive on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 next March, with a Wii U version to follow at some point after that. Team Ninja head Yosuke Hayashi told as much to a crowd of journalists in San Francisco this afternoon, according to our reporter on the ground. 

I'm going to wait and see what the Wii U version is like before I pick a version (if I pick one at all).

The poor Wii U. It's going to get a bunch of old-ass games for it's launch that will likely not look that much different from the other versions.

Nothing of what they showed reminded me of Ninja Gaiden Black. Ninja Gaiden II was a major letdown and all that Sigma stuff didn't do anything for me.

Team Ninja has stated that the Wii U version will have some features that the PS3/360 version won't have. Enough that they're giving the game its own unique subtitle.

Here's to hoping the combat is still fun. NG2 was one of my favorite hack'n'slashy games ever.
