    Ninja gaiden sigma just rocks

Ninja gaiden sigma rocks... yeap it just rocks . it is just so addicting , so well designed , so atmosfairic, so damn rewarding when you slash your enemies. what was i missing! my first NG was the one for master system and is one of my favorite games i ever played that time! so happy memories! an instant favorite for me. then there were Ng for nes. they were awesome too!

now 15 years later i just played sigma. boy what was i missing.. i beat it twice in a row. i am playing this game for over 2 weeks. i ll take a break now to platimun inFamous but sometime i ll replay ng Σ. this game is n about finishing it. it is about PLAYING it. which is a rare thing and a good thing.

yes there are some tedious moments in the game and it could be and shlould be better at some parts but if you do t think aout it you won t even notice it. i am SO getting Ng Σ 2....

1)graphics are flawless and prettty to look at. though there are no physics at all
also there are some places where you are alone! in chapter 3 for example you are aboard a flying airship... ALONE! where is the crew! but it doesn t matter

2)music and sound: what can i say here ? the ost is really epic! just youtube pray to god , or vanished memories and listen.

    3) gameplay: slash , slash , slash ,slash some more! yeap it is all about slashing , but it is not by NO way a button masher, in fact if you button mash you ll get pawned, do not be a n00b and think fast before you attack. there are a lot of weapons to master. beging mastering dragon sword though. you ll get to upgrade each weapon with money, A lot of money in harder difficulties, however upgradin a weapon doesn t only upgrade it's damage, it upgrades it's moves, you get new deadlier awesomer moves... so choose what weapons you favor and master them. after you finish the game master another set of weapons. my personall favorite is dual katanas (ps3 exclusive:)).
now is there anything else than slashing?
yeap! there is a considerable amount of backtracking, which is great! the devs here did an awesome job. there are some typical puzzle solving just to untire you and sharpen your reflexes. this game took me about 17 hours for teh first playthrough on EASY.

    4) difficulty: this game kicks your arse, this is not for the faint hearted, BUT it is very rewarding ONCE you get used to the combos you favor , weapons you are comfortable with , and figure out tactics . bosses... OUCH! bosses are intimidatingand huge. bosses=epic battles in this game. just TAKE as many healling potions AS you can
but do not be afraid, this game may look cheap but  : you die becase you just did not DO WELL and you shoukld do better, simple as that. i finished this game on nnja dog (easy) , normal and hard. it was worth it and i am planning to play it on very hard at some time BUT i think will not be able to handle it. (things sometimes can et nasty between you and your controller, once that happens stop playing immediately and relax, it is just a hard game ). actually it is not that hard as some say. do nt be paniced and playthis game. on normal and easy you ll get the most out of it and you ll feel rewarded.

    5) story and cutscenes and acting: story and acting really sucked and this is why i reduced 0.5 from a 10! cutscenes are cool however but you cannot rewatch them, you have to replay the game... which is lame!
JUST buy the game or rent it!
great value for money AND time.
i forsee that this game will remain as a classic of our time, like super mario bros was back then... at least to me ninja gaiden sigma will be an old time classic.

also i forgot : there are MANY xbox owners who bash the game AND ninja gaiden sigma 2....
    SHAME ON YOU.

also Sigma is a greek letter, it's counterpart in english is "S"

Ninja's and lots of hacking and slashing? Win? 0

Proving that 3rd party exclusives are hardly exclusive anymore, an updated version of the then exclusive Xbox360 game, Ninja Gaiden II(notice that ‘Only on Xbox360′ badge?), was announced this past E3 for the PS3, in Sigma form. Meaning there will probably be updated levels, weapons, modes, etc. Ninja Gaiden came out for the Xbox1 back in ‘04, then remade as Ninja Gaiden Sigma for the PS3’s launch in 06′ with those mentioned enhancements. The Good – Awesome, fast paced hack-n-slash gameplay that...

THIS REVIEW IS DESTINED TO THOSE WHO, LIKE MYSELF, DIDN'T PLAY ANY NINJA GAIDEN GAME BEFOREThe gameplay is extremely well-designed and the control over Ryu is seamless, particularly when fighting enemies. There's no clunky lock-on system here, instead, when you press one of the two attack buttons, Ryu automatically hits the enemy closest to him and when you press the projectile button, he throws it at the nearest enemy in front of him with the accuracy of a true ninja – and all works perfectly, ...
