Nikkei, that Japanese paper that has accurately predicted many thing in the past, is now predicting a 3ds redesign we will see tomorrow.

Apparently, it will include

- 4.3 inch screen, making it 1.5 times the current size

- release in North America, Japan and Europe could happen as early as Summer

It would be very, very surprising if they included a compatibility-breaking change in an early revision.

I hate feeling like I have something to lose from them announcing a redesign since I bought a 3DS very recently. I'm okay with everything about the 3DS besides the lack of a second analog nub built in to the system, so I'd actually be happy if a redesign merely included a larger screen size.

I have my doubts.

How are they not adding the second nub? It's a no-brainer that Nintendo isn't doing, apparently.

They should leave a second nub off.

Those shoulder buttons are hard to hit as it is...

I could believe a reveal, but summer feels way too soon to release a redesign.

Usually all their redesigns in the past costed the same price or lower, I think? They never went back to launch pricing from a redesign.

So glad I saved off on getting a 3DS. The new Lords of Shadow game is pushing me to get one right bad.
