    The Nintendo 3DS is a portable game console produced by Nintendo. The handheld features stereoscopic 3D technology that doesn't require glasses. It was released in Japan on February 26, 2011 and in North America on March 27, 2011.

    After a week of marketing & sales, Nintendo's 3DS has sold an overall number of 439,206 units in Europe. Here's the regional breakdown of hardware sales, and overall sales of software within it's first week in Europe. 
     
    Hardware Sales: 

    - 128, 895 United Kingdom
    - 90, 262 in France
    - 71, 872 in Germany
    - 45, 588 in Spain and Portugal
    - 41, 505 Italy
    - 20, 017 Scandinavia
    - 41, 067 Rest of Europe

     
    Software Sales: 
      
    - Pilotwings Resort - 48, 916
    - Nintendogs + Cats - 46, 666
    - Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition - 43,448
    - Rayman 3D - 39, 088
    - PES 2011 3D - 31, 428
    - Ridge Racer 3D -  22, 405
     
     
    Nintendo 3DS has accumulated 1.33M unit sales since it's launch in Japan on February 26th.
