Namco Bandai have trademarked Tales of Innocence in the U.S. Tales of Innocence (DS) was released four years ago in Japan, but the game was never brought over to North America or Europe. Namco Bandai have recently said they want to make more of their money in the West, and releasing the many Tales games that have never touched Western shores, could well initiate that. A 3DS version of Innocence would be a nice way to warm up the audience for Tales of the Abyss on 3DS, I hope it happens instead of a standard DS release of the game.

Thoughts?.  Has anyone played the fan translation at all?

That would be awesome.  A Tales game on a handheld? Yes please.

I only wish that what you say about the Tales games being localized and their success were true. They still need to get Graces F and Xillia doesn't have a NA release planned, if I'm not mistaken.

I doubt they'll bring it over (wasn't there some U.S. licensing business a while back with some other Tales game, that lead to absolutely nothing?) but one can always hope.
