Konami are bringing a new rhythm game called "Utacchi" to Nintendo DS . The name "Utacchi" combines the Japanese word for song, "Uta," with the Japanese word for touching things. Utacchi is a rhythm game where you touch something named a "Tacchii" in time with music. You can also play by singing into the DS microphone. The game will support up to four players.  Konami have provided no other details.

If your getting bored with Rhythm Heaven, this might be one to look out for next year.

    Not DSiware?

I really enjoy Japanese music games and wouldn't certainly look at an import if the price is reasonable.  If it doesn't lose too much of its "Japaneseness" on translation and westernisation, I could live with a localised version as well.  Too many Japanese music games that are localised end up with Brittney Spears type music on it - yuk.
