    Convenience - all your games on one card.  
    Security - you can leave you games securely on the bookcase and travel without the risk of losing them or theft.
    Multiple save files - especially for families, where the game has one save file and there are more thn one person who wants to play it.

    Which is why I want one. 
     
    The dark side is piracy.  If you can resist the dark side, then there is no loss.  I myself have no desire for piracy as I am a collector of sorts- I like seeing my bookcase full of games I own.

    I do still need to get a flash cart, but it's only to play games that I wouldn't be able to play otherwise due to them being on a japanese reigon locked console and being great for portable play.

    Thats because the games I want to play on the flash cart are not DS games.
