Well I made one and linked it to all of my social media accounts. Lets see how long until this becomes useful in any way. Would be nice to see them work this back into the 3DS and Wii U for purchases and what not, but I'm sure that is just wishful thinking on my part and probably won't happen.

Yo can my games be tied to this so I don't have to worry about changing/losing/breaking systems?

Seems like you can change nicknames, so I don't think we need to worry about reserving names. Also QuidProBono doesn't fit the 10 character limit so fuck Nintendo.

I really hope the NX uses this to connect games to the account instead of using their current shitty system, otherwise I'll likely skip out on it like I did the Wiiu.

Wow. That is not many countries you can choose. Because I live in Norway I cannot make an account. Tried to make one with my Nintendo ID first, got that I couldn't make an account because of my country settings. Hopefully they do something about that.
I do vaguely remember not being able to join Club Nintendo because they did not accept members from Norway though...

10 character limit?! Really?! It's 2016, Nintendo. Surely you can not possibly be that oblivious. I pray to all that is holy that they both plan to increase that limit and implement the ability to allow you to change your name someday...but given the fact that this is where things are starting, I'm really skeptical right now.

you can change the name now, so although I've had to mangle the name, I'm looking forward to changing it again when they increase it.

Made mine. Though, it looks like it pulled-in my Mii from Wii U/3DS when I linked my Nintendo Network ID. I guess if I change the nickname for the account, it will change the Mii name on those systems? Must investigate tonight.
