The PBY Catalina was an American flying boat used during the 1930s and 1940s. They could be equipped with depth charges, bombs, torpedoes, and M2 Browning machine guns. In the Call Of Duty: World At War mission "Black Cats", the player takes control of a gunner inside a PBY Catalina and is tasked with taking out Japanese boats and later rescuing an Allied boat crew.
