    I'd say the 7670 is the more powerful of the two graphics, but obviously the Dell Inspiron (5421) i5 has the faster CPU.... very difficult to decide for me...

    Neither are great for gaming or even good, but the one on the left has the better GPU so that will probably help you more on the gaming side. Just to be clear neither are "gaming laptops".

    You could probably get medium settings on consoles ports on the 5521 and medium low on the 5421. That's taking into account the low res on the screens too.

    I've got a samsung-np550p5c-s03in with i7 and its pretty damn good. Theres another Lenovo Y series (i think) which is supp to be better

    That's not only almost twice as expensive, but also not a very good laptop for the price.

    As for the two that were provided as options, the 5521 with the 7670M is what I would go for personally. You do end up with a slightly worse processor, but the difference in GPUs would likely be more apparent in performance than the CPUs. Are you open to other suggestions (presumably in the same price range), or are you set on those two models specifically?

    3337U might have a lower standard clock but you guys forgot all about the turbo.
    It goes all the way up to 2,7, so it ain't worse at all.

    looking at benches, atleast.

    that msi laptop is pretty fat, pretty much the best cpu you can get, and a decent graphics card, but i dont know US prices.
