Absolutely not.

If anything, it would be a reference to a side project like a Catherine 2 or something, but I doubt there'd be that either as it seems that, at least after Persona 4 Arena, the Persona team will be actively working on Persona 5. I can't see them as the type to hint at such an important title like P5 in a game of theirs.

In P3P, you could find Vincent, who had a few lines of dialogue that hinted about what Catherine was going to be about.

Do you think that there will be a similar treatment in any of the upcoming Persona games, ostensibly for P5?

Maybe they did it in P3P I would think such easter egg should be in P4G rather than the fighting game where there isn't a place to do it subtly.

@TooWalrus: A while back, Index did refer to Catherine as a new IP they were planning to do more with, so it's a possibility.

If you watched the TV a bunch in the lobby of the dorm in P3, there were references to characters in P1 and P2 mentioned.

And Inaba is Masao from P1's last name.

What do you mean? That happened before Catherine was teased or anything. I mean, I don't think it'll explicitly state "Hey, Persona 5 is coming out", but just a small hint to get discussion going before they announce it for real.

I agree 100%! For Pete's sake, I'm re-watching the P4 endurance run for the fifth time now... (it's the perfect background noise when playing something).

I don't think they will, but it sure would be cool. I feel like with how little information is out there that the earliest we could possibly expect p5 is holiday 2013 for Japan. That's too long.

Atlus has been talking about it for a while. They've said whose working on it, that it'll be on a custom engine, etc.

ya but there's a difference between talking about all the stuff your doing and it being ready for public consumption, although for just an easter egg I could see them just having a character walking around in the background or something. If there is one I really hope its the kind that we don't realize is there until P5 is out
