If you don't know, Ad/hoc is a type of connection that doesn't need a router to make it work. PSPs have this technology to play ''lan'' parties.

Well, the PS3 obviously has the power to run this, because it connects to the PSP via this technology, so why doesn't Sony want this open for people like me who want to have internet connection on the PS3 and PC through ad/hoc, because my PC is the only one connected to the distant router through the electricity cabling. And for others who don't have a router and want to have PS3 ''lan parties''.

I wish they'd incorporate this too. It'll cater to a small audience, which is probably why they aren't doing it. My friend and I had to rewire his entire house just so we could play Resident Evil 5 on two separate screens.
