i play in SD :(

I somehow managed to get a rear projection tv a couple of years back that actually supports 1080i (which was a huge surprise when i hooked my PS3 up a couple of months back)... Though i question weather it's actually showing all those pixels or just mushing them together... looks OK either way.
I'm playing with an 26" LCD 720p Bravia... meh, I still think HD is way overrated, I can't really see much of a difference. That isn't to say I don't see any difference but there isnt much and its not worth the hundreds more dollars over an SD TV, I think. I do like having a widescreen though, I don't have to keep looking back and forth when defending in TF2 now :D

The switch from SD to HD was extremely dramatic for me.
Probably because Gears of War was almost unplayably dark on my old SDTV.

"Batman said:Actually, HDMI is not an inherently better signal. It really depends on how well your TV can handle either as well as the particular device being used. Here's an article describing it if you'd like to read up a little on that.

I play my games on an old JVC tube. Still waiting to get a plasma
"I'm playing on a 32" 720/1080i Sony Bravia. Can't wait until the woman and I finally move out of here so I can get a bigger TV. This flat is too small. :)"
I play in hd. 1080p if the game supports it.

Once you do get a bigger TV, get a 52" 1080p Sony Bravia. BEAUTIFUL. They (Sony) use 'em at all their events, like E3, Leipzig, etc.
"
heck yes I am, I dont think I will ever be able to go back
"No clue, all I know is I have seen it; beautiful. That's helpful... =P

Now playing in 1080p due to HDMI...really cool!!!
You know gaming "in HD" is not new at all. PC games Have been able to run in HD resolutions before there was a term HD.
I currently own a 57" Widescreen Toshiba projection 1080i TV, and 2, 24" 1680x1050 widescreen Acer monitor's. Not the best, but they work well.
