Well if your lucky enough (like me!) to live in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan or Kentucky apparently you can get a PSN card at a store called Meijer. Although I haven't gone up to a Meijer to see if I could find one yet.....

Question.
I already have a PSN id, and my console is set to NA and all that like any normal person here in the states would do.
If I wanted to see the Japanese PSN content or buy it, what would I need to do, and would it mess up my NA account and the things I have purchased here?

With buying I'm not sure but you can make another user then make an Japanese account to access the japanese store...i use it to download demos that they get and we dont.

Yeah it does nothing with your NA account. Also if you need help making a japan account there are a crap ton of tutorials that take you step by step since it's all in another language.

I would absolutely LOVE to buy myself some PS1, or even PSN games. But tis the life of a broke college student, who must work his entire summer to merely afford going to school with a massive debt looming above his head. Man, PSN has again and again proved it has AMAZING games on it. After Home is released, and we see more PS1 and PSN games, Xbox Live's time draws near.

you don't need a credit card to buy Japanese PSN games. the easiest way is to go buy PSN yen cards on ebay for 3,000 and 5,000 yen. here is a link
