I finally got to mess around with a PS4 today and goddamm is the dualshock 4 an amazing feeling controller. I'm sold just on the controller alone, it's fantastic! once infamous 2nd son comes out I am buying a PS4. sad thing about it not being backwards compatible because I kinda have a lot of PS3 games. how is your end of generation stockpile?

I was actually thinking how much better can the dualshock 4 be. Literally the second I picked it up, my jaw dropped. It's nice and ergonomic, the sticks are fantastic I don't mind clicking these ones in. Mann now if only there were something to play on it.

That collection is ridiculous. I, honestly, would have had something similar, but I was still trading in my games up until 2 years ago. I was young and stupid.

I bought a white PS3 slim earlier in the year, but her younger, darker sibling is a bit more to my liking. She has a bit more weight to her, but she handles pretty well and she has yet to freak out on me.

I hope she'll play nice with my Vita.

If it's any consolation, my ps3 identifies as gender neutral.

My own collection of games could reach about half of one of those stacks, but'll probably be growing in the near future. I'm in no rush to buy next-gen quite yet (and by that, I mean I don't have the money), and there were some games I'm sure I missed out on.

I have one stack, about two thirds as big as yours. I'm pretty careful about not buying games I won't play, and I often sell games I won't play again.

My stockpile isn't so crazy. Between the 360 and PS3 I might have about half of what you got there. I've never been much for holding onto my games. By the time I'm nostalgic for any of them, they'll probably be dirt cheap or have HD remakes. I only keep the games that I really love, and that I feel like I might want to revisit at some point. Otherwise I sell them, give them away, or trade them for something else.

EDIT: Actually, I've recently been doing mostly digital purchases for my games. So, if I counted my digital collection of retail released games, it might be right about the same size as your pile.

I gotta upgrade my PS3 hard drive and just download all the PS+ games I've built up. I think I have dozens unplayed at this point so it's staying plugged in for a long, long time.

hmmmmmm depends man, lack backwards compatibility kinda was already known..... but man it'd be nice just to pop in one or two games your in the middle of.

I'm just seeing PS4 on the side. I'm not letting PS3 find out until after Dark Souls II comes out. Then I'm ditching her.

I won't bother with a picture, but I think I have around 100-ish physical copies of PS3 games. At this point I'm considering just getting a disc jacket, because the boxes are taking up way too much space.
