Does the free Vita copy come as a code in the box or is it something that gets linked to your account once you play the game? Friend is thinking of buying the game for his PS3 but doesn't own a Vita so was thinking of giving it away to someone that owns a Vita. Was just curious to know.

@crusader8463: its a download on the disk, so wwhen you put the disk in your ps3 there is an option to download the vita version from the store, but it links it to whatever psn ID is used to download it.

also I believe your friend would then need to buy an online pass but idk.

The online pass for the Vita version is separate from the PS3 version, and comes with the Vita version claimed on the disc.
