    Well this may be a cluster fuck of epic Preportions it appears that an error with ALL big PS3's e.g any that are not slims is effectivly making them unable to play games 
     
    This is apparently indipendent of weather the PS3 is connected to the net or not. 
     
    It appears to be an issue with the systems clock. 
     
    Sony is saying to leave your PS3 off for 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I have a slim but I don't trust it, I haven't turned on my PS3 since they said there was an issue. I finished Heavy Rain before this happened, glad I did because I would have had to change my avatar to a very sad dude wearing a gas mask.

    Thank goodness it's not affecting slims. A copy of Heavy Rain should be coming through my letter box tomorrow morning.

    Slightly off topic I know but as someone who just got a PS3 last week and an ipod touch this week it bothers me how much more the touch version of safari can do compared to the PS3 browser. For example my college campus uses cisco clean access and the login page has some java-thingy that apparently PS3 lacks (not the default java plugin before you flame me, something else) which the touch version of safari can load the page and application (? I think, screw technical terms)  just fine. What the heck is with the PS3 browser not being able to do some stuff an ipod touch can do.  
     
    Though kind of a moot point since browsers on consoles are dumb in general.
